24-year-old dies after rollover crash
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A Sidney woman is dead after a crash on Thursday afternoon.
According to our partners at the Sidney Daily News, the crash occurred around 2:42 p.m. on I-75, near mile marker 178, in Bowling Green.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the driver of a 2003 Mercury Mountaineer was traveling north on the roadway and lost control of the vehicle, causing it to swerve to the right of the interstate and roll repeatedly.
The driver of the vehicle, later identified as Makayla Lee, 24, was ejected from the vehicle. The initial investigation determined that Lee was not wearing a seatbelt. She was the sole occupant inside of the vehicle.
The crash is under further investigation.
