Malabon says pumping stations ready for rainy season
The pumping stations in Malabon City are working well and are ready for the rains that may come this rainy season, the local government unit (LGU) said, according to a report by Carlo Mateo on Super Radyo dzBB on Sunday.
The LGU said the City Engineering Office was tasked to ensure that the pumping stations are in good condition even as the navigational gate which cause flooding during high tide is being fixed.
The City Engineering Office regularly inspects and monitors Malabon's pumping stations as follows:

???? Magsaysay Pumping Station – Brgy. San Agustin

PAGASA on June 2 announced the onset of the rainy season in the Philippines.
In a statement, the state weather bureau issued the announcement based on the latest weather analysis and rainfall data from selected data-gathering stations.
PAGASA also announced on May 30 the start of the Habagat or Southwest Monsoon period in the country.
The Philippines may expect occasional to frequent rains and thunderstorms, especially over the western section of the country while periods of monsoon breaks may also occur. —KG, GMA Integrated News
