Burberry Plants Seeds of Style in Royal Garden Collaboration
Burberry has unveiled a new capsule collection in collaboration with Highgrove Gardens, the private residence of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla. The limited-edition line not only showcases British design but also highlights Burberry's long-standing connection with the Royal Family as a Royal Warrant holder.
The Highgrove x Burberry collection features 28 pieces of menswear, womenswear, and accessories adorned with vibrant designs by British artist Helen Bullock.
Drawing from the organic beauty of Highgrove's Kitchen Garden, Bullock created vibrant designs inspired by its trees, arbours, wildflowers, and even its bees. 'I soon fell for the tangled sway of wildflowers and that special combination of dancing poppies and cosmos,' she said.
Reflecting Burberry's deep connection to the outdoors, the collection is crafted from sustainable materials including certified wool, organic cotton, and organic silk.
Additionally, the collection supports The King's Foundation, a charitable organisation founded by the King. The Foundation preserves the gardens and promotes environmental education, conservation, and traditional craft skills. Burberry has also made a charitable contribution to The King's Foundation to support ongoing nature and educational programmes at Highgrove, which include traditional crafts and community youth engagement.
To accompany the launch, Burberry released a campaign set against the backdrop of a classic British country house and garden. Acclaimed actors Elizabeth McGovern and Laura Carmichael, best known for Downton Abbey, and Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù, famous for Mr. Malcolm's List, model the collection.
Retail spaces around the world are celebrating the launch with specially designed displays. A standout window in Qingdao, China, pays homage to Bullock's garden-inspired artwork. Meanwhile, flagship stores in Miami, Sanlitun in Beijing, and Regent Street in London feature floral installations and benches that evoke the feeling of a traditional English garden.
This marks the fourth collaboration between Burberry and Highgrove Gardens, underscoring a shared commitment to British creativity, heritage, and environmental awareness.
Scott Simpson, Retail Director for The King's Foundation, emphasises that the partnership celebrates excellence in British craftsmanship and the outdoors, while each purchase contributes to preserving heritage skills and supporting sustainability initiatives at Highgrove.
