However, not all of those institutions have reported losing access to grant money. Both the library commissioners board and the Boston's West End Museum said Thursday they had not received official notification of any cuts.
But library and museum leaders have said the uncertainty has forced them to reassess their critical programs and initiatives, many of which rely on the previously-awarded grants in the form of reimbursements.
