OC's Adam Bresnu earns Male Student-Athlete of the Year honors
ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – The NJCAA has announced that Odessa College's Adam Brensu has been named this year's Male Student-Athlete of the Year. Bresnu is among the top 200 amateur golfers in the world according to the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Over the past two years, Bresnu has earned nine wins and placed in the top 10 30 times.
During the 2024-2025 season, Brensu was ranked as the top overall men's golfer, coming into every contest averaging in the sub-70s. In addition, Brensu finished second at the 2025 NJCAA Division I Men's Championship at Sand Creek Station in Newton, KS.
To go along with his stellar play over the year, Bresnu has earned a 3.69 GPA while enrolled at Odessa College. Brensu will continue his career up north in Lubbock with Texas Tech University as a junior, majoring in Business Administration.
