The high street retailer secured permission to carry out a £2.2million revamp of the former Home Bargains branch, The Courier reports.
It's scheduled to open on Wednesday, July 9.
Inside the new store, there is set to be a Costa Coffee branch and a Mamas & Papas outlet.
Dundee City Could approved signage for these retailers, as well as aluminium 'Next' lettering on the building.
The new store will be Next's fourth store in the city, with sites in the Overgate, Gallagher Retail Park, and Kingsway West Retail Park.
The unit is located next to Aldi and has been vacant since Home Bargains to a bigger site, formerly the Odeon cinema, in December 2023.
Several retailers have opened new branches at the Stack Retail Park over the past couple of years.
Home Bargains megastore at the site is the largest branch in Scotland, with the sales floor coming in at a whopping 35,000 square feet.
It features a cafe and bakery, as well as a 7,000 square feet garden centre.
The shop was built on the site of the old Odeon Cinema, which was demolished in 2022.

A Greggs branch at the entrance to the shopping park opened in September 2023.
It was the city's first-ever drive-thru branch after it took over a former petrol station.
The Range, Smyths Toys and Aldi also have units at the retail park.
