Mashroo3i adds English Training
TDT| Manama
Tamkeen's flagship startup programme 'Mashroo3i' is breaking new ground with the introduction of an English-language track in its latest intake - aimed at opening doors for more aspiring entrepreneurs across Bahrain.
Wider participation
The new bilingual structure marks a significant step in the programme's evolution, with Tamkeen now offering both Arabic and English training tracks. The move is expected to attract a wider pool of applicants, especially among youth who are more comfortable working in English or come from mixed linguistic backgrounds.
Open to individuals with business ideas, idea-stage ventures, or early startups, 'Mashroo3i' offers expert mentorship, skill development, and business model guidance - now accessible in the applicant's preferred language.
Strategic inclusion
Khalid AlBayat, Chief Growth Officer at Tamkeen, said the decision reflects Tamkeen's commitment to fostering inclusive entrepreneurship.
'We are proud of the positive outcomes Mashroo3i has achieved over the past years and look forward to even greater success with this edition,' he said. 'This programme plays a pivotal role in providing tailored guidance and mentorship to help transform a business idea into a reality.'
Participants will be guided by experienced entrepreneurship mentors and receive milestone-based support to help them launch and sustain their ventures.
Support with scale
Finalists will be eligible for phased financial and technical support from Tamkeen, covering everything from product development and branding to technology and equipment. The programme supports both innovation and job creation, in line with Tamkeen's 2025 strategy to bolster Bahrain's private sector.
Applications for both the English and Arabic tracks are now open through Tamkeen's website.
