MANASSAS, Va. () — Police in Manassas are asking for the community's help in locating a man with autism who has been missing for more than 10 hours. Prince William County offers safe way to dispose of pills

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — The nationwide prescription 'Take-Back' initiative is coming to Prince William County on Saturday. On April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Prince William County Police Department, Manassas City Police Department, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and community groups are joining together to provide individuals with a safe way to dispose of unused or expired prescription medicine. They can also contaminate groundwater, soil and water supply. Prescription and over-the-counter solid-dosage medications will be accepted. Vape pens and e-cigarettes will also be accepted after batteries have been removed. Liquid solutions, injectables, needles, hydrogen peroxide, compressed cylinders (asthma inhalers, for example), iodine-containing medications and thermometers will not be accepted.
