Plenty of reviews recommend the pub's food. (Image: Google Maps) A review from last month (April 2025) said: 'We visited the inn whilst on holiday in Saundersfoot. What a great pub. Very quirky inside with excellent real ale and delicious food. We liked it so much we went back again the following night!'
Another review from the same month added: 'We visited Castle Inn today for lunch (two adults and two teenagers).
'The food was great. We had the Welsh beef burgers, chicken fried dumplings and chips. Great good. Great service. Lovely, quirky decoration. Really glad we visited this pub today.'

'The staff were all really good and able to tell us about the beers on offer and what was in the various items on the menu. I would have liked to look at all of the photos and quirky items around the pub, but it was always so full that I couldn't get anywhere near!
'It is dog friendly in a couple of the rooms. I would advise booking because each time we went in it was packed!'

Seven of us booked for an evening meal and we had a great table in the little bar area. Lovely, varied menu and the food quality and portion size was excellent. A really enjoyable evening!'
The pub is also located around a ten-minute walk from Manorbier beach.
