LPS searching for man that threatened to set a woman's house on fire in hate motivated incident
Police are looking for a man described as white, roughly 5′8″ tall with a slim build. He is believed to be between 27 and 32 years old, and at the time of the incident he was wearing a grey ballcap, work boots with red laces, and a yellow and black hoodie with 'LOONEY' written across the chest in red (Source: London Police Service)
London police are searching for a suspect involved in what has been deemed a 'hate motivated incident.'
On May 29, sometime between 8:00 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. in the east end of the city an elderly woman was approached by an unknown man who began yelling at her.
The incident took place in the area of Marconi Boulevard and Trafalgar Street.
The man threatened to set her home on fire before walking south on Marconi Boulevard.
Police say that the nature of the comments leads them to believe that the incident was hate-motivated.
There were no reported injuries.
The London Police Service Hate Crime Unit is investigating the incident, and police are looking for a man described as white, roughly 5′8″ tall with a slim build.
