Larsa Pippen's, 50, toyboy Jeff Coby, 31, is engagement ring shopping amid whirlwind age-gap romance
Larsa Pippen 's much-younger boyfriend Jeff Coby is already ring shopping. The Real Housewives of Miami star, 50, started dating the Haitian-American basketball player, 31, earlier this year following her split from Marcus Jordan, 34. Despite only knowing each other for a short time, the couple are moving full steam ahead to a bigger and more serious commitment. 'She tells me what she likes and what she doesn't like,' Coby said about Pippen's preferences. 'It's relatively collaborative at the moment.' As for the proposal and when and where is may happen, Coby told Us Weekly, 'we're both super busy at the moment.' Coby added, 'The only thing I can say is to confirm that it's coming.' Coby said his relationship with Pippen has made him 'a happier person,' but being in the public eye has been an adjustment for the former Columbia University basketball player 'The public eye can be crazy at times,' Coby said. 'You have to really hone in on protecting the household.' Coby added, 'It's definitely interesting because normally you go out to a restaurant, but you're not expecting a group of people outside waiting to take photos of you. 'Honestly, I think it makes us closer because we have to be cognizant of how narratives can be painted out,' he said. 'You really just want to do things that reflect the other person in the best light possible.' Larsa was previously married to NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen from 1997 to 2021. The couple shares four kids: Scotty Jr., 24, Preston, 22, Justin, 19, and Sophia, 16. Larsa also had an on-again, off-again relationship with Marcus Jordan, the son of NBA legend and Chicago Bulls teammate of Scottie's, Michael Jordan. They dated for two years before calling it quits in March 2024. Coby decided to publicly announce their future wedding date in Miami on May 5 to TMZ, 'We're getting married November 2025.' '2026,' Coby corrected himself. 'We're getting married. It's going to be a beautiful marriage. November 2025.' Larsa then slightly smiled as she looked up at the 6ft8in former pro basketball player. 'Are you proposing now?' the lensman asked. 'I can't tell you where I'm going to propose,' Jeff smiled coyly. Larsa remained silent throughout the bizarre exchange, and she only mouthed 'thank you' after repeatedly being congratulated. DBC Fitness owner David Alexander reportedly set Pippen and Coby up at the 10-year anniversary bash for his gym at ZZs Club Miami on January 9. The Florida-born baller entered the 2017 NBA Draft but he did not get drafted and he last played for the Yamaguchi Patriots in 2023. The divorced mother-of-four was previously engaged to NBA legend Michael Jordan's son Marcus Jordan, but they ended their on/off two-year relationship in March 2024.

Marcus Jordan has made progress in his sobriety journey. On social media, the 34-year-old shared an update for his followers after being arrested earlier this year for DUI. '40 days sober and counting,' he wrote on an image shared to Instagram stories. A screenshot of the 24-hour-timed upload was shared by TMZ. In February, the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan was taken into custody for drug possession, DUI, and resisting arrest in Florida. Officers claimed that they smelled alcohol on Jordan, who was allegedly slurring his words and had 'bloodshot eyes.' He also had cocaine in his possession at the time of the arrest. In March, Jordan admitted to his issues with substance abuse and addiction as his legal team hoped the judge would order him to complete a Pre-Trial Substance Abuse Education and Treatment Intervention Program for 'challenges' related to his 'alcohol/substance use,' according to Complex. 'I appreciate everyone reaching out. I'm focusing on @trophyroomstore right now and won't be making any comments on recent media stories and my personal life,' Jordan explained at the time. Last year, before his arrest, a video of Jordan allegedly sniffing an unidentified white substance went viral, resulting in social media criticism. In the clip, he was with his girlfriend, Ashley Stevenson, in France after officially parting ways from Larsa Pippen. No public response has been made regarding the video. Michael Jordan's troubled son Marcus reveals he's seeking help after drugs and alcohol issues
Michael Jordan 's son Marcus is now officially 40 days sober - over three months after he was arrested for DUI and cocaine possession. The post signaled at his hopes to continue the positive momentum, with various optimistic emojis and GIFs of a 'loading bar' and 'in progress' message. Marcus was breaking a sweat with the help of a Tonal gym, with the Drake track Mention Me soundtracking the post. But the star indulged in some sushi and a hearty beef dish later, which he shared to his Instagram as well. Marcus, who dated Larsa Pippen from 2022 to 2024, left a cryptic comment alongside one of the photos of his dinner. 'People ask what happened, I go silent,' he wrote. 'I wouldn't even speak on you, but now you wanna mention meee.' Marcus ended his weekend uploads with a mirror selfie. 'Put on a happy face,' he wrote. The milestone comes over three months after Marcus was arrested on February 4 in Florida for DUI and cocaine possession. Later that same month Marcus saw his cocaine possession charges altered after police determined the drug allegedly on him was ketamine and not cocaine, according to TMZ. It was initially believed that the white powdery substance on him was cocaine. Police did a field test on the powder which tested positive for cocaine. However, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement has since established the drug was actually ketamine. The mix up reportedly happens now and then as the two drugs have the same color and texture. It is not sure how this will change his sentencing as both cocaine and ketamine are illegal drugs, however TMZ notes the change could help Marcus as the state of Florida has classified cocaine as a schedule II drug and ketamine a schedule III drug. In light of the change, his charges has now been slightly changed - Rather than possession of cocaine, Marcus' is now charged with possession of ketamine, DUI with property damage, and resisting arrest. Jordan was arrested after his Lamborghini SUV got stuck on train tracks in the early morning hours, allegedly due to his impairment. Jordan's attorneys have since entered a not guilty plea and requested a trial by jury while waving his first court appearance, a pretrial conference scheduled for March 20, according to People. Jordan also pleased not guilty to felony cocaine possession and resisting an officer without violence, which is a misdemeanor. He was arrested after police officers found his damaged SUV stuck on train tracks. Marcus allegedly pleaded with officers to help him push his car off the tracks, but they refused, and he was arrested after failing a sobriety test. During the interaction, Jordan dropped the name of his famous father while pleading with police to help him move his vehicle. Marcus and Larsa began dating in January 2023, and went as far as to share their hopes for marriage, but they ended things in March 2024.
