Scottish Labour minister leaves Government for health reasons
Margaret Curran, who was ennobled in January and appointed to serve in Ed Miliband's Department for Energy Security and Net Zero on May 22, left the UK Government on Friday, Downing Street said.
It is understood her decision to leave Government is over health reasons.

The baroness served as minister for parliamentary business twice during Scottish Labour's reign in Holyrood before she stood down as an MSP in 2011.
She was elected to Westminster in 2010, regaining Glasgow East for Labour from the SNP before losing to Natalie McGarry at the subsequent General Election.
Her son Chris Murray is the current MP for Edinburgh East and Musselburgh.
