The Editor's Market opens in Great World
Home-grown women's fashion retailer The Editor's Market (TEM) has opened the doors to its newest branch. Located in Great World, the store serves as a central outpost for the brand, which has outlets in Jem and Tampines 1.
TEM recently closed its flagship store, which housed a cafe, in Takashimaya Shopping Centre at the end of its three-year lease, although it will be reopening at a different unit on the same floor in July.
The new 1,800 sq ft space in Great World is a departure in design from its previous, larger store. Minimalist in look, the store is airy and bright, thanks to the skylight letting in artificial natural lighting. Two large chequered cylinders anchor the space, displaying selected apparel in more private nooks.

While this store does not carry the same breadth of lifestyle and homeware brands as the former Takashimaya flagship did, and also does not have a cafe, fans can still shop partner brands like American accessories label Baggu and local loungewear label Rise Rise, as well TEM-designed bags such as the Tate Bag ($69) and Shirr Shoulder Bag ($49).

Global footwear brand Vivaia is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a pop-up in Singapore, its top-performing market in Asia.
The former online-only brand, which has roots in China, opened its first physical store in the world in Bugis Junction in September 2023. It has since expanded its offline presence rapidly around the world, including five stores in Singapore.
Prized for their comfort, the shoes have also been spotted on numerous celebrities, including Blackpink star Jennie, who posted a photo of the square-toe Margot Mary-Jane in Ruby Red ($189) on Instagram .

Meanwhile, American supermodel Bella Hadid was photographed wearing the Sneakerina Cristina ($217), a ballet-inspired sneaker in machine-washable satin.
The pop-up will launch the Sneakerina in a new Butter Yellow shade. From May 30 to June 1, Vivaia will take over the atrium space in basement one of Wisma Atria.

Shoppers who buy a pair of Sneakerina during the pop-up can access a complimentary do-it-yourself shoelace customisation bar, where they can mix and match colourful laces, charms and accessories to personalise their shoes.
The offer is limited to the first 200 customers a day. The first 200 customers a day who follow @Vivaia_Singapore on Instagram will also receive free macarons.

Loewe's iconic Puzzle turns 10

Every luxury brand has its one iconic handbag whose reputation precedes it. For Spanish fashion house Loewe, that is the Puzzle. The sculptural bag that draws its name from its geometric play of leather was the first new bag Loewe launched since the 1980s, and it turns 10 in 2025.
To mark the anniversary, Loewe has released 19 re-editions of its favourite takes on the bag from the past decade, and one new design, under the Puzzle 10 collection (from $6,950). The limited-edition collection showcases different techniques – applique, embroidery, cross-stitch and Loewe's signature leather marquetry.

Each bag is a work of art. Against a backdrop of velvety green suede, the SS18 Runway Re-edition ($8,700) features two embroidered hands of playing cards, and lucky totems including a pair of dice, a horseshoe and four-leaf clover.
In another, the Paula's Ibiza Parrot Re-edition ($8,700), the bag's origami-like structure comes to life with a geometric patchwork of archive prints, printed canvas, a washed and fringed denim pane, and a leather intarsia parrot motif.

It is not a birthday without confetti. Alongside the re-editions is a new Confetti bag ($8,700) crafted in midnight-blue leather and hand-embroidered with thousands of 'confetti' pieces. The candy-coloured pieces are made of tiny circles and diamonds of leather, laminated leather and sequins, meticulously applied to the Puzzle by hand.

The Body Badalada Lotion ($49 for 400ml) comes in the same Cheirosa 62 scent of pistachio and salted caramel signature to the Brazilian-inspired, American body-care brand.
Although weightless in feel, it is said to provide 24-hour hydration through a cocktail of ingredients, including Brazilian sugarcane, to boost surface-level hydration; a hyaluronic acid blend, to drive moisture deep into the skin's layers; and Brazil nut oil, which is rich in vitamin E.
