Wisconsin man injured in rollover crash
May 4—WINONA — A 43-year-old Wisconsin man was injured in a one-car crash on U.S. Highway 61 south of Winona.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that the driver, Mario Isaac Lemagnes, of Hawkins, Wisconsin, was alone and driving south when his vehicle rolled. The incident occurred at about 5:44 p.m. Saturday at milepost 18, in Richmond Township between Winona and Dakota. The pavement was dry and alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to the patrol.
Lemagnes was taken to Winona Health for treatment of minor injuries. The type of injuries and the extent of damage to the car, a 2009 Toyota Camry, was not reported. Lemagnes was wearing his seat belt and the car's airbag system deployed in the crash.
The Winona County Sheriff's office assisted.
