The tragic discovery was made in Deri Woods, Abergavenny, on Sunday, after an appeal to locate Mark Carver, 65, who went missing days earlier. A Gwent Police statement yesterday (Monday) said: "An urgent appeal was launched on Tuesday, June 3 after Mark Carver went missing in south Wales. The body of a man was found in Deri Woods, Abergavenny on Sunday 8 June. "Formal identification is yet to take place; however, the family of Mark Carver have been notified.
