Harrogate defender O'Connor signs new contract
Harrogate Town defender Anthony O'Connor has signed a new two-year deal to stay at the club until the end of the 2026-27 32-year-old has been a mainstay at centre-back since joining the Sulphurites in January 2023 and started all but one of their 46 games in League Two this season.O'Connor has made a total of 118 appearances in all competitions for the North Yorkshire side, scoring eight goals and helping keep 27 clean sheets."I'm glad to have committed my future here, it's always somewhere I've seen myself staying," O'Connor told the club website, external."It's a great place to play football, I can't speak highly enough of the place, there's great people behind the scenes and we've got a good side building now."The Irish defender is the third of six players offered new deals to put pen to paper for Harrogate, along with goalkeeper Mark Oxley and defender Warren Burrell.

Keeper Oxley signs new Harrogate contract
Harrogate Town goalkeeper Mark Oxley has signed a new one-year contract with the North Yorkshire 34-year-old made only five appearances for the Sulphurites this season as they finished 18th in League joined Harrogate from Southend United in 2021 and in total has played 93 games for is the first of six players offered new deals to commit to the club for next season.
