7 Brew Coffee drops into Irondale
IRONDALE, Ala. (Trussville Tribune) — Irondale coffee lovers have a new spot to start their mornings off right with the opening of their own local 7 Brew. According to Chris Basinger of the Trussville Tribune, community members and employees celebrated the grand opening of the popular drive-thru coffee chain's newest location on Monday with special guest and 7 Brew lover Miss America Abbie Stockard. 'I'm obsessed with 7 Brew, y'all have no idea. I'm so glad this is a closer location because I live 30 minutes away from the Trussville one and I will drive the 30 minutes to go and get it,' Stockard joked. Before the ribbon cutting, she was presented with a $1,000 check from the company for the Miss America Scholarship Foundation, which offers academic and community-based scholarships for undergraduate and graduate studies. Springville launching 'Market on Main' farmers market this summer 'I'm so appreciative of y'all writing this very generous check for the Miss America Scholarship Foundation. For those who don't know, Miss America is a scholarship organization, and the entire reason I started competing in the first place was to fulfill a financial need for my family,' Stockard said. 'I know that this scholarship money will definitely help other young women like me who are in similar positions,' she continued. Located at 1353 Montclair Road, formerly the Sonic Drive-In, the drive-thru stand offers over 20,000 unique drink combinations to satisfy any craving. The coffee spot has proven to be a hit with locals, joining other locations that have opened up recently in Moody and Trussville. In addition to offering special deals, the location will host a 'Swag Day' on April 19 where customers who purchase a large drink will get a free 7 Brew shirt. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. South End restaurant to open with massive patio, dog park and huge TV over Rail Trail
Market on Morehead, a spacious restaurant with an expansive patio and a 25-foot TV overlooking South End's Rail Trail, is coming to Carson Station. Why it matters: As Charlotte grows, our hang-out spots in South End and Uptown feel perpetually packed. Market on Morehead will add new space for food, drinks and entertainment on the edge of both buzzy neighborhoods. What to expect: Market on Morehead's roughly 4,000-square-foot patio will be dog friendly and fully climate-controlled with a pergola system and heaters. A double-sided bar will stretch inside the 7,000-plus-square-foot restaurant and extend along the patio. There will also be a fenced-in turf park for dogs to roam off leash and an outdoor stage to host bands and DJs. Above the stage, the huge LED TV will be capable of broadcasting multiple screens simultaneously. People will be able to see the screen from the Rail Trail. Dig in: The menu will feature gourmet American dishes, similar to those at Market on Main, its sister restaurant in Columbia, S.C. Expect burgers, quesadillas, fish, steak, pasta and fun items — like the "Girl Dinner," a playful take on the viral trend, consisting of a Caesar salad served with truffle fries in a giant martini glass. The menu also includes twists on popular fast food. The M.O.M burger, for example, is like an elevated Big Mac, with two 5-ounce patties, American cheese and Russian dressing on a sesame bun. The drink list also offers some creative concoctions, such as "the Baddie," an Aperol spritz served with an entire mini bottle of Prosecco. ("Think trashy drink classy," the menu declares.) The vibe: Josh Willoughby, co-founder of Market on Main, describes his vision for Market on Morehead as a complete destination for eating, drinking and entertainment. "It's a very fun, laid-back environment. But then has really good food," Willoughby says. What's next: Market on Morehead is targeting a December opening at 1001 Morehead Square Dr., near the Carson light rail stop.
