Lee County Sheriff's Office The following reports were filed Monday by the Lee County Sheriff's Office. A County Road 1850, Tupelo, man said while he was out of town working, someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole his Glock 9mm pistol from the glove box. A Whitewater Lane, Saltillo, man said a black-and-white pit bull came onto his property and charged at him growling. He said the dog is not from his neighborhood. It was wearing a black harness and left heading down the road. A County Road 325, Shannon, man said a Black man in a Tahoe pulled into his driveway Saturday afternoon and got stuck after leaving ruts in the yard. The man said he could not leave his residence because the SUV was blocking him. The deputy explained the man could have the Tahoe towed if he wanted, since it is one private property. A County Road 115, Okolona, said one of the dogs she and her husband own has become aggressive toward her other dogs and cats. She wanted to know what she could do to get rid of it. The deputy said the dog is hers, and she could contact local shelters to see if they could accept it. A County Road 814, Plantersville, man said he had four International semi-trucks parked in his field for at least five years. He said someone stole the computers off each truck, 16 batteries, four wiring harnesses and a radiator. He said he found footprints nearby that lead to the house next door. A man noticed that a piece of wood over the hinges of his County Road 821, Baldwyn, barn was broken. He did not think the wind could have created the damage. Nothing else was broken and nothing was missing. A County Road 183, Tupelo, man said someone entered his unlocked truck during the night. Someone went through all the compartments, but nothing appeared to be stolen. A County Road 811, Saltillo, man said the road is closed in front of his house. Motorists have started using a small bridge on his property to get around the closed road. He said the bridge is only designed to support an ATV crossing the creek. He said the cars have damaged one of the metal rails on the bridge.
