Here's The ‘Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls' Confirmed Fighter List
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls
PlayStation's State of Play may not have revealed The Last of Us Part III, but for certain audiences, there were some explosive premieres all the same. Chief among them was the surprise debut of Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, an upcoming fighting game from Arc System Works, the developer of Guilty Gear.
Previously mainly locked into the Marvel Vs. Capcom series, this is a huge turn for the comic characters in the fighting game space, a 4v4 concept with some brilliant designs and movesets on display already.
So far, we have a confirmed list of eight characters coming to Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. They are:

There will no doubt be more added and revealed over time, but this is the initial list of confirmations. Many eagle-eyed fans have combed through the footage, mainly the backgrounds of the arenas, and found references to other Marvel characters like Dazzler, Daredevil, Thor, Wasp, Luna Snow and The Fantastic Four. Again, it's the Marvel universe, so those could just be fun easter eggs or indications of something more. Here's Arc producer Takeshi Yamanaka on the roster of Marvel characters:

So the idea is that they're attempting to feature heroes that are outside the expansive roster of the history of the Marvel vs. Capcom series, in addition to other fighters we've seen over the years. Ms. Marvel comes to mind as a character that fits that bill (unless I'm missing her appearance somewhere).
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will be out sometime in 2026. It will join 2025's very high-profile Marvel game, Marvel Rivals. Of the eight character reveals, Ms. Marvel, Ghost Rider and Doctor Doom aren't playable in Rivals, albeit that game adds new heroes and villains every single month.
Marvel is expanding its footprint at a time when its rival DC is struggling, from the failure of Suicide Squad to the cancellation of a Wonder Woman game. DC's main fighting game series is Injustice, but it's hard to imagine Injustice 3 could match the hype we're seeing from fans here.
It's a huge deal, and hopefully we'll hear and see more from the game soon.
