Troopers looking for suspect vehicle in fatal hit-and-run
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is asking for the public's help to identify a suspect after a fatal pedestrian strike earlier this month. OSP reports 66-year-old Mary Carter died on Hoover Avenue in Trotwood on March 13 after trying to cross the street. A vehicle traveling eastbound on Hoover Avenue struck her in the roadway before fleeing the scene. Part of building falls in Oregon District OSP is now asking for the public's assistance to help identify the suspect vehicle and driver. Investigators believe the suspect vehicle is a 2011 or 2012 black Chevrolet Impala. The vehicle is expected to have noticeable damage to the front bumper on the driver's side. Police seeking suspect vehicle that hit, killed 66-year-old woman crossing Trotwood street
Mar. 17—A vehicle left the scene after hitting and killing a 66-year-old woman crossing the street in Trotwood Thursday night. Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers responded to a pedestrian strike on Hoover Avenue near Scottswood Road at 9:03 p.m. Thursday. Mary Carter was crossing Hoover Avenue from south to north when a vehicle going east hit her in the road, according to OSHP. The vehicle did not stop and left the scene. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a black 2006-2013 Chevrolet Impala. It may have damage to the front bumper area. Troopers are asking for anyone who witnessed the crash or who has information to call the OSHP Dayton post at 937-832-4794. Trotwood and Dayton police also responded to assist troopers.

The car may have damage to the front bumper area.
