Samantha Barks pregnant with second child as she debuts bump in royal show
The Masked Singer UK winner Samantha Barks has confirmed she's pregnant with her second child as she prepared to perform at the VE Day 80: A Celebration To Remember concert Samantha Barks has announced she's about to become a mother for the second time. At 34, the West End star - who won The Masked Singer earlier this year - is expecting her second child with Alex Michael Stoll. The pair are doting parents to their 19-month-old son, Rafael, but Samantha confirmed that another little one is on the horizon as she geared up to perform at the VE Day 80: A Celebration To Remember event. "I'm nearly nine months pregnant, it's gonna be me and baby performing for royalty tonight. It's our first adventure!" she said. Samantha also acknowledged her previous royal engagements as she readied to belt out the wartime anthem We'll Meet Again. She said: "It's my fourth time, actually. It never gets less nerve-wracking, it's always such an honour but I'm nervous! We have a choir, we have dancers, it's gonna be a really big finish and I'm super proud of it." She reflected on the unifying force of music particularly for the concert's tribute, as she shared: "Music brings us all together, it still does, even tonight, it brings us back to those days - the power of music. "A song like We'll Meet Again, it's so poignant and beautiful and I'm really looking forward to it." Samantha initially stole hearts when she competed in BBC's I'd Do Anything in 2008, where she vied for the role of Nancy in Oliver and came third, just behind Jessie Buckley and Coronation Street star Jodie Prenger. Not long after, she took on the role of Eponine in the London production of Les Miserables, and later reprised the role in the 2012 film adaptation, sharing the screen with big names like Hugh Jackman, Amanda Seyfried and Eddie Redmayne. From 2021 to 2024, she graced the West End stage as Elsa in the production of Frozen and also lent her expertise as a judge on ITV's Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream, joining fellow judges Alan Carr, Amber Riley and Jessie Ware. Speaking about returning to her role in Frozen, she said last year: "With most parts I've played, there has been an expectation because the character is known in some way. I choose to not take that on. I want to do a good job and I want people to enjoy it, but it's not really a helpful emotion to take on in terms of thinking about what people might expect. "Every other part I've played has a love interest, and that has been like the main focus. This is not that at all… Elsa is a really complex part. And she's so isolated, so that's very interesting. It's a lot of 'conceal and don't feel' until she has that moment of self-acceptance and self-love.'

ITV The Masked Singer fans say Wolf was 'robbed' after star unmasked as 80s legend Marti Pellow
Fans of The Masked Singer said Wolf was 'robbed' as the character was unmasked as an 80s legend during Saturday night's grand final (February 15). After losing out on a spot in the final two to Pufferfish and Dressed Crab, Wolf finished the ITV singing contest in third place, where it was revealed that he was Wet Wet Wet's former frontman Marti Pellow. The Scottish singer, 59, who ruled the radio in the late 80s and 90s as the lead singer of the iconic pop band, shocked the judges Maya Jama, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and guest judge Danny Jones when he emerged from under the Wolf costume. They said: "It's all about new foundations. If you wanna keep a roof over your head, I should know. Not that I'm bitter about the business." Guesses from the judging panel included Richard E. Grant, Tony Hadley, David Tennant and Mike Skinner. But whilst many viewers at home guessed it was the 80s star hiding behind Wolf's costume, they fear he was 'robbed' of winning the show. ITV The Masked Singer flooded with same complaint minutes into final as star goes 'missing'
The Masked Singer has been flooded with complaints minutes into the final as one star appears to be missing. After seven weeks of hiding behind their elaborate masks, Saturday's grand finale (February 15) will finally see Wolf, Crab and Pufferfish unmasked for the first time - with one of them crowned the 2025 winner. So far this series, nine celebrities have been unmasked including the likes of Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway, Great British Bake Off judge Prue Leith and American singer Macy Gray. READ MORE: BBC Breakfast halted as Naga Munchetty announces heartbreaking news READ MORE: BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Vito Coppola declares love for co-star as he admits 'I tried' and needs 'time with family' The final three contestants will battle it out tonight with two performances, including 'one-of-a-kind' duets with three of the previously unmasked stars from this year's series. The winner of The Masked Singer is chosen by the audience and the judging panel, made up of newest judge Maya Jama, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan, who are often joined by guests each week. But as the finale kicked off, fans of the hit ITV singing contest noticed that regular judge Mo was missing, and was instead replaced by last year's The Masked Singer winner, McFly star Danny Jones, who won the 2024 series champion as Piranha. Comedian Mo, who joined the show in 2021, was also noticeably missing from the semi-final of the show last weekend, which led fans to complain about his whereabouts and the lack of explanation for his absence. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one viewer @cazcoup1 asked: "Where's Mo no mention of why he isn't there again," as @kevwgs echoed: "Why is Mo not on the panel? Him and Davina are the best judges #MaskedSingerUK." @claire_bear1273 also asked: "Where is Mo tonight on #maskedsingeruk," @mademetoxic said: "What happened to Mo btw. #MaskedSingerUK." @SufcLee wrote: "although thats weird, mo gililgan, where is he. done all the series & missed the final 2 episodes #MaskedSingerUK." @Survivinthe20s asked: "Was Mo just cancelled off the happened? #maskedsingeruk," as @kellyloumugg also wondered: "Where the hell is Mo? #maskedsingeruk."
