His story proves that dedication and hard work lead to greatness In an inspiring achievement that has brought pride to India, 16-year-old Nitin Patel from Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, has been crowned the world champion at the Mathlo Genius International Competition in Dubai. Competing against 800 participants from 18 countries, Nitin Patel, a student of Class 9 and son of farmer Yashpal Patel, solved 200 complex mathematical problems in just six minutes. Out of 20 Indian participants, only two hailed from Madhya Pradesh, making Nitin Patel's success even more significant. Upon his return, his hometown welcomed him like a hero, with flower garlands, sweets, and celebratory beats of the drums. An award ceremony was held in Sagar to honour his remarkable feat. His victory showcased India's growing talent on the global stage. Nitin Patel qualified for the international round after excelling in the national-level competition held in Delhi last year. However, his family had to arrange for the travel expenses themselves. His grandfather, Kesari Nandan Patel, stepped in to fund the trip. He trained at Little Flower Academy, guided by director Sahajal Irfan, who also received the 'Best Fastest Teacher' award at the event. Sahajal Irfan expressed immense pride in Nitin Patel's achievement, calling it a milestone for the city of Sagar and proof that talent knows no barriers. This proud moment is a shining example that dedication and hard work truly pay off. Nitin Patel's three months of disciplined preparation and commitment to excellence have now placed him among the brightest young minds in the world.
