Wisconsin Recruiting Heats Up with Commitment from Bah

Wisconsin Recruiting Heats Up with Commitment from Bah originally appeared on Athlon Sports. After a slow start to building its 2026 recruiting class, the Wisconsin football program is starting to heat up. Using momentum during official visits, the Badgers are starting to add players to their class. Advertisement One of those players is defensive lineman Djidjou Bah, out of Germantown, Tennessee. The 6-3, 253-pound defensive lineman is considered a 3-star prospect according to 247Sports. Bah picked the Badgers over a handful of Power 4 teams, including Iowa, Indiana, Michigan State, Northwestern, and more. He announced his commitment to Wisconsin on social media. While Bah is listed as a defensive lineman on the recruiting site, Bah's primary recruiter from the Badgers is linebackers coach Matt Mitchell. It may not mean anything, but it could also be an indicator that the Badgers are looking to use Bah as an edge rusher rather than a defensive lineman. Advertisement The Badgers already have Carmelow Reed in the class, who is also listed as a defensive lineman, but the Badgers are looking to use him as an edge rusher. Reed's commitment to the Badgers, however, may be in question after he took a visit to Ole Miss over the weekend. Bah was scheduled to take his visit before the Reed news broke. But now, Bah's commitment is looking like solid insurance for the Badgers. With the addition of Bah, the Badgers' 2026 class now stands at 10 committed players. Stay tuned, because there are likely to be more commitments in the near future. Related: Badger Commit Flirting with Rebels? Wisconsin top 2026 defensive line target includes Badgers in final eight schools

Three-star class of 2026 defensive lineman Djidjou Bah has narrowed his recruitment down to eight final schools: Indiana, NC State, Michigan State, Northwestern, Iowa, Georgia Tech, Memphis, and Wisconsin. 247Sports ranks the 6-foot-3, 253-pound prospect as the 148th defensive lineman in the class and the No. 60 player from his home state of Tennessee. Bah's lead recruiter from the Badgers is Matt Mitchell, who has done an excellent job with high-school recruiting in the past few months, including flipping four-star class of 2025 defensive lineman Jaylen Williams from Michigan. Advertisement Wisconsin hopes that Bah becomes the eighth addition to its class of 2026. He'd also be the second defensive lineman, joining three-star Carmelow Reed. Teams like Indiana, Iowa, and even Georgia Tech are hard to beat when it comes to college football recruiting. Still, the Badgers are hosting Bah on an official visit on May 30th and seem optimistic about winning this recruitment.
