USA Raft Adventure Resort closed for 2025 season
UNICOI, Tenn. (WJHL) — USA Raft Adventure Resort announced on Saturday it will not open for its 2025 season.
After attempting to rebuild after Hurricane Helene and obtaining the necessary permits on their end, the resort said it would be closed this year.
Wise County under State of Emergency due to flooding
Owner Matt Moses said the US Forest Service told the business on Friday that no rafting permits would be issued this season.
Moses said the resort will continue to assess the area in hopes of reopening in 2026.
