Car used as battering ram in alleged road rage incident

Footage captured outside a petrol station yesterday afternoon shows the driver of a white Mazda repeatedly slamming into a blue SUV in front of it. In the video, the car reverses and then surges forward to hit the SUV around ten times. An alleged road rage incident has been caught on camera in Whyalla, South Australia. (9News) Witness Matthew Bambridge told 9News there was "a lot of screaming" but it was not clear what led up to the incident. "I couldn't get my phone out fast enough and missed the first hit. But yeah, caught the rest of the hits," he said. "She just kept hitting his car over and over and over until her car wouldn't go anymore." A 23-year-old woman from Iron Knob was arrested at the scene. No-one was seriously injured, although the passenger in the blue SUV was taken to hospital. It is not yet clear if the man and the woman involved in the incident know each other. The woman who was arrested will undergo a medical assessment before possible charges are laid. national
