Community gathers for 34th Strawberry Days Festival in Grove City
GROVE CITY, Pa. (WKBN) — The rain didn't stop people from enjoying a summer tradition in Grove City on Sunday afternoon.
It was the last day of the 34th Strawberry Days Festival at Grove City Memorial Park on West Main Street.
There were 32 new vendors selling items such as woodwork, jewelry, candles, pottery and art. Other vendors offered wood carvings, pet supplies, tumblers, mugs, donuts, hot sauces and dips.
Event organizer Mary Kay Mattocks says it's fun for the whole family.
'176 crafters, there is 18 nonprofit food vendors that are all local food vendors. We have a children's shortcake patch for children,' Mattocks.
The festival goes until 9 p.m. and is free to get in.
