Mazda Withholds Profit Guidance as Suzuki Dodges Trump's Tariffs
Mazda Motor Co. withheld its annual profit guidance after its short-term future, along with most global carmakers, was muddied by US President Donald Trump's trade war.
The Japanese automaker's forecast for the fiscal year that will end March 2026 has yet to be determined due to uncertainty over factors including US tariffs on car and car parts, Mazda said Monday, adding that it will announce its expectations when it becomes possible to establish a reasonable projection.
