Derry City boss addresses speculation of possible player exit
Derry City manager Tiernan Lynch has done little to quell speculation that midfielder Dom Thomas could be on his way out of the Ryan McBride Brandywell.
Reports in his native Scotland suggest that he could be on his way home this summer, after just half-a-season in the League of Ireland.
The 29-year-old arrived from Queen's Park last winter and has made just eight starts and four substitute appearances, and has scored once during his time so far.
Lynch was quizzed on the issue and he said: 'I think there are probably players now in the squad that will want to move on.
'I think there are players in the squad that will feel that they are not getting the game-time that they deserve or they need.

'So, I have probably no doubt that there will be outs as well as ins.
'There haven't been formal approaches that I'm prepared to talk about in public, they are approaches that we have to keep in-house and talk to the players and get players' understanding where they are at before we go outside with it.
'You are always going to get people from outside, especially with them not playing… he's not a kid who has ever downed tools on us or someone that doesn't try.
'He is in a situation, he's a good pro, he's not jumping out the door, he probably would have liked to have played more than he has.'
