County Board: How they voted
Members of the McLeod County Board of Commissioners unanimously voted to approve the following resolutions at their Aug. 3 meeting. For more County Board coverage, see the Leader's Aug. 5 print edition.
Highway roller: Purchase a Caterpillar CB24 roller from Zieglar Cat of Minneapolis at the state contract price of $36,177. The new model will replace a 1976 Dynapac roller. The old roller will be used by the Solid Waste Management department to crush recyclable glass.
Safety grant: Amend an agreement for the Lester Prairie Safe Routes to School project. The amendment increases construction engineering from $15,000 to $35,413, because more federal aid has become available. The amendment will not increase county costs.
Aerial photos: Approve the use of up to $15,000 from the county recorder's technology fund to partner with the Minnesota Geospatial Information Office to update the county's aerial photos.
