Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info McDonald's is axing five items, including its viral Minecraft meal from today, in a new menu 'shake up.' The change is set to allow the fast-food chain to introduce new batch of seasonal food options. A beloved meal deal many are sad to see go is the Minecraft movie deal including a Big Mac, nine McNuggets or four Veggie Dippers, with a side and a drink. Alongside the meal is an exclusive McDonald's toy, built in the style of a Minecraft character. The Philly Cheese Stack is a returning favourite which is also heading off the menu this May, made with two beef patties, cheese sauce, cheese slices, grilled and crispy onions and pickles wrapped up in a toasted bun. McDonalds' McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse is also making its departure, with the burger filled with a chicken breast fillet in a crispy coating with a smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, red onion, lettuce in a sesame-seed bun saying goodbye for now. The last item being pulled from the menu will be upsetting for those with a sweet tooth, as the Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie has been named as the final victim of the seasonal switch-over. McDonald's lovers shouldn't mourn the loss of the fast-food favourites too much though, as the chain has announced it will be launching a Frozen Cherry Lemonade tomorrow, alongside the McSpicyXFrank's RedHot, Steakhouse Stack and Biscoff McFlurry and Biscoff Frappe on May 7. McDonald's is shaking up its menu with brand new drink and spiciest ever burger
McDonald's is launching a new Frozen Cherry Lemonade on May 7, while the McSpicy X Frank's RedHot is also making its grand return to UK menus McDonald's is shaking up its menu next week with a new drink and spicy dip, plus returning fan favourites. Maccies is launching a new Frozen Cherry Lemonade on May 7, which is described as a tangy frozen lemonade with a sweet cherry flavoured swirl. The McSpicy X Frank's RedHot is also making its grand return. If you've never tried one, the McSpicy X Frank's RedHot contains a chicken breast in a hot and crispy coating, topped with lettuce, cheese made with Emmental, jalapenos, slivered onions, and Frank's RedHot Mayo. Spice fans will also be able to buy a separate Frank's RedHot Mayo dip for the first time ever. McDonald's fans will also be pleased to hear that the Steakhouse Stack is rejoining the menu from May 7. This burger contains two beef patties, topped with cheddar cheese, crispy onions, red onions, and fresh lettuce, all drizzled with a savoury black peppercorn sauce. For dessert, McDonald's is bringing back its Biscoff McFlurry and Biscoff Frappe. Biscoff McFlurry features a Biscoff biscuit crumb swirled into soft serve ice cream, while the Biscoff Frappe has a vanilla flavour base, blended with ice and Biscoff biscuit crumb. But the new menu items means McDonald's is taking its Minecraft movie meal and brand new McFlurry flavour off the menu. The new Apple Cake McFlurry features apple and shortcake pieces, and finished with a sour apple sauce. Meanwhile, the Minecraft movie meal is "crafted for adults" and features a Big Mac or nine McNuggets or four Veggie Dippers, plus your choice of side and drink. It also comes with an exclusive collectable toy of your favourite McDonald's characters, blockified. The Minecraft movie meal is available in medium or large size. The spicy Nether Flame Sauce is also being axed. The sauce is made with crushed red pepper and flaming cayenne, balanced with hints of garlic and sweetness, and is inspired by the hell-like nether dimension in the Minecraft series, containing fire and lava. But it isn't all bad news. Maccies fans will still be able to tuck into the Katsu Chicken One, which includes your choice of crispy or grilled chicken, coated in flavourful katsu sauce, packed with crispy onions, crunchy cucumber, and fresh lettuce, wrapped in a warm, toasted tortilla. Plus, Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers are staying on the menu. These are mozzarella cheese dippers flavoured with garlic and chives, in a ciabatta-style breadcrumb coating, served with rich tomato dip.
