Part of Weddington Road closed in Matthews due to crash: Police
MATTHEWS, N.C. () — A portion of Weddington Road is closed in Matthews after a crash impacting work traffic Monday, the Matthews Police Department says.
Police first reported the incident around 8 a.m. on Feb. 17. Weddington Road is closed just before Pleasant Plains Road. This is a little over a mile from downtown.

Traffic appears to be delayed in the area and drivers are encouraged to take McKee Road as an alternate.
