IGNOU launches first MSc in home science, focusing on community development
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has introduced a new Master of Science (MSc) in Home Science with specialisation in Community Development and Extension Management. It is a two-year course for graduates who want to work in the development industry, overseeing community projects related to health, employment, education, and social course is provided by the School of Continuing Education and will be taught in English through Open Distance Learning (ODL). During the first year, the students will be studying development theory, community organizing, media and development, and ICT communication tools.
