A festival of progress and culture: ‘Ente Kerala' trade fair opens with colourful celebrations at Kottakkunnu grounds

In connection with the fourth anniversary of the state government, the 'Ente Keralam' exhibition and trade fair held at Kottakkunnu Grounds began with a colourful start. The event was inaugurated online by Minister for Sports, Minority Welfare, and Waqf, V.
Abdurahiman, at a specially arranged venue at Kottakkunnu. P. Nandakumar, M.L.A., presided over the event. Political party representatives, officials, and the public participated in the inauguration.
V. Abdurahiman, Minister for Sports, Minority Welfare, and Waqf, inaugurated the 'Ente Keralam' exhibition and trade fair online, in connection with the fourth anniversary of the state government, at Kottakkunnu Grounds. P. Nandakumar, M.L.A., presided over the colourful event.
The fair was organised under the leadership of the Information and Public Relations Department with the cooperation of over 90 state government departments and various institutions. The exhibition in Kottakkunnu showcased the achievements of the government over the past nine years.
Stalls from various departments were set up to inform the public about different government schemes. Real-time displays on LED screens and services from different departments were made available with the help of modern technology.
The 'Ente Keralam' Mega Exhibition, led by the Department of Information and Public Relations, aimed to highlight Kerala's overall progress and capture the evolving spirit of the state.

The exhibition city set up at Kottakkunnu included two air-conditioned hangars and one non-air-conditioned hangar, covering a total area of 70,000 square feet, including 45,192 square feet of air-conditioned space. The exhibition was held with extensive arrangements. Over 150 stalls from various government departments and institutions, service stalls offering departmental services, the 'My Kerala First' exhibition by P.R.D.
spanning 2,000 square feet, an agricultural fair led by the Agriculture Department, a food fair showcasing the diverse flavours of Kudumbashree, a tourism exhibition reimagining tourism experiences, a pavilion showcasing technical excellence by KIFB, a techno-demo area for IT departments and startups, a sports zone, diverse and informative stalls, and a mini theater were all set up inside air-conditioned pavilions. Over the seven days, 13 seminars on contemporary issues by various departments, along with daily evening cultural programs, were part of the fair. The fair also featured a food festival and a book fair as part of the event.
