(WHTM) – Changes are coming to how Pennsylvania Lottery players will try to cash in on the Mega Millions moving forward. Subscribe Now The first game of this new prize structure will be held at 11 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, and will include an increased ticket price from $2 to $5. With the increased ticket price, updates to the Mega Millon will reportedly offer players bigger prizes, a larger starting jackpot, improved chances of winning, a built-in multiplier, and no breakeven prizes. The Pennsylvania Lottery says, for example, that matching the five white balls will no longer result in a $1 million prize thanks to a built-in multiplier that will range from 2x to 10x the prize.
