Drugs led to deadly 2024 Somerset County crash, troopers report
SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A deadly crash in Brothersvalley Township was caused by a driver who was under the influence of a controlled substance, troopers recently reported.
Meghan Kelker, 37, of Rochester, Pa., was pronounced dead after a crash Dec. 20, 2024, on Glades Pike. According to the initial report, Kelker was driving a Ford Focus when she lost control and hit a Dodge Ram head-on.

On March 31, state police out of Somerset filed a new report showing that Kelker was under the influence at the time of the crash.
Initially, the driver of the Ram was taken to UPMC Somerset for minor injuries.
