Tennis star worth more than Federer, Nadal and Djokovic humbled at French Open

Emma Navarro has an astonishing net worth that is more than the combined wealth of Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic. However, her recent performances on clay certainly don't match the levels of the Big Three, as she was thrown out of the French Open in the first round.
The American has an eye-watering £2.35billion fortune, which dwarfs the wealth of Nadal, Federer and Djokovic. In comparison, the Big Three have estimated net worths of £431m, £188m and £173m respectively – or £792m combined.
However, Navarro's on-court performance fell drastically short of her financial strength as she crashed out of the French Open in the first round. The world No. 9 suffered a humbling straight set 6-0, 6-1 defeat to 68th-ranked Jessica Bouzas Maneiro.
The 24-year-old had shown promise earlier in the 2025 season, reaching the Australian Open quarter-finals and claiming a second WTA Tour title at the Meirda Open in Mexico. But she struggled to replicate that form on the clay courts of Roland-Garros, and fell to defeat early on.
Her opponent, Bouzas Maneiro, was left stunned by her victory over the American billionaire. Speaking post-match, the 22-year-old said: "I didn't expect the result but I always try to play my best, and I think everything is possible.
"I feel good playing on clay, and winning here at Roland Garros is so special to me."
The 22nd-ranked star, whose wealth is significantly boosted by her billionaire businessman father, Ben Navarro, was knocked out of the French Open in just 57 minutes.
Discussing her speedy win over Navarro, Bouzas Maneiro added: "I have no idea [how I won in 57 minutes]. Really quick, and it's funny because my team just told me, 'Is it possible to win a match in two sets?'
"Because the last two were three sets. They said to me, 'Is that possible?' I said, 'I will try to do my best!' So for you guys, one hour, finally!"
Navarro will likely be more focused on the competition loss rather than the potential drop in earnings due to the huge wealth that is a shared trait across her family.
Navarro's investment mogul father, Ben, is the founder and owner of Sherman Financial Group.
According to Forbes, Ben's wealth is estimated to be around £3.7bn as of May 2025, and he has used some of his fortune to invest in his daughter's tennis career.
In September 2018, he purchased Charleston Tennis LLC, and in 2022, his company, Beemok Sports, secured the rights to the Cincinnati Open.
Following this French Open defeat, Navarro will now turn her focus towards Wimbledon, which takes place at the end of June. Meanwhile, Bouzas Maneiro will play Navarro's fellow American tennis player, Robin Montgomery, in the second round on Wednesday.
