Since its launch in Tunisia, Bolt has played a key role in transforming the transportation landscape by making mobility more accessible and convenient. With operations in key cities such as Tunis, Sousse, Sfax, Nabeul, and Monastir, the platform has made transportation services essential for thousands of Tunisians who rely on on-demand transport for their daily commutes, errands, and travel. The platform has supported over 5,000 drivers in Tunisia, offering them a flexible source of income and opportunities for increased earnings. A recent survey commissioned by Bolt highlights the impact of on-demand transport services on daily life in Tunisia: – Over 85% of Tunisians believe that on-demand transport services are an excellent complement to public transportation, providing a reliable alternative when public transport options are limited. – More than 78% feel that these services have improved their ability to access areas they previously found difficult to reach, enhancing connectivity between cities. – 82% say it has saved them time on their daily commutes, allowing for greater productivity and flexibility in their routines. A sneak peek at Ahmed Mekki's new Ramadan TV series Al-Ghawy - Screens - Arts & Culture

The creators of the 15-episode TV series Al-Ghawy, starring Ahmed Mekki, have revealed exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the production. Al-Ghawy, which will be aired during Ramadan, marks Mekki's return after his peak in Al-Kabeer and Al-Kabeer Awy, aired between 2010 and 2024 in eight seasons. Directed by Mohamed Gamal Al Adl to the scenario by Mahmoud Zahran and Tarek Al-Kashef, Al-Ghawy will mark Mekki's departure from light comedy towards a new emotional, dramatic role. Mekki portrays Shams Nasr Al-Adawi, a thug who decides to improve his life after his wife's death. However, challenges appear on his way as he struggles to become a proper single dad. The series also stars Tunisian actress Aïcha Ben Ahmed alongside the Egyptian cast, which includes Amr Abd El-Guelil, Karam Gaber, Sayed Ragab, and Ahmed Bedeir. Mekki is one of the most popular Egyptian actors. Born in Algeria to an Algerian father and an Egyptian mother, he came to Egypt at a young age and graduated from the Institute of Cinema's directing department. He launched his career by directing a few short films and television productions before embarking on acting in the mid-2000s. Mekki's iconic role was in El-Kabeer and El-Kabeer Awi, where he portrayed several characters.
