Spring Hill prisoner on the run 'should not be approached'
Police have appealed for help to trace a man who has been on the run from an open prison. Thames Valley Police said Michael Gilworth, 38, absconded from Spring Hill Prison near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, at about 20:45 GMT on Thursday. He has been described as 6ft tall (1.83m) with a slim build, ginger hair and a beard, and a number of tattoos. He was known to frequent Stockport, Greater Manchester, police Con Melanie Cannon said: "If you see Gilworth, do not approach him and call 999 instead."
He was last seen getting into a blue Ford Mondeo wearing a light blue jumper, dark trousers and a black beanie force said he had a goblin tattoo on his upper left arm, a fish tattoo on his lower left arm, "Kelly" written on his inner forearm, a lip tattoo on the side of his neck and "Lewis" written on his right hand.
