Generation ROC: West Irondequoit students featured in professional art magazine
WEST IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. (WROC) — Congratulations to six West Irondequoit students who just had their artwork featured in a professional art magazine!
The district hosted a K-12 Student Art Show and one visitor was certainly impressed—the marketing editor for Along magazine, who said she was inspired by the diversity and quality of their work.
The magazines are distributed in the U.S. and China, and this is the first time featuring American students. The students' art pieces were included in the most recently published winter issue.
Seven recent graduates in the Class of 2024 were also included in the feature. The artists are:
