Mohun Bagan Super Giant captain and India defender Subhasish Bose was named the AIFF Men's Player of the Year on May 2 in Bhubaneswar, edging out stalwarts like Sunil Chhetri — a recognition that marks a noticeable shift in the dynamics of Indian football.
