Mental Health & Wellness Day Fair held at State Capitol
HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — State leaders are highlighting the importance of mental health awareness.
On Tuesday lawmakers held the third annual Mental Health & Wellness Day Fair at the State Capitol.
World War II veterans honored by CT lawmakers
Nearly 40 agencies and businesses gathered to offer tips on maintaining and improving your mental well-being.
'I realized, what a better way to start my work as a legislator than by creating a space for healing and support and connection,' State Rep. Kai Belton (D-Middletown) said. 'And that's how the mental health wellness fair was born.'
Some of the booths at the fair also offered free chair massages to help attendees relax.
