Saskatchewan was certainly the land of the living skies Wednesday, as severe thunderstorms rumbled across the province.
A low-pressure system moved through central Alberta Wednesday afternoon, bringing heavy hail, rainfall and lightning in centres such as Edmonton, Calgary and Lloydminster.
The storm fronts quickly crossed provincial boundaries. Severe thunderstorm activity in central Saskatchewan peaked during the evening.
A tornado watch was active for North Battleford and Saskatoon, while further south a severe thunderstorm watch was active for communities such as Swift Current and Moose Jaw.
Below are just some of the sights captured by residents.
