Two years after coming to the city, she got Rajshri Production's film 'Jeevan Mrityu' (1970) in which Dharmendra was seen opposite her. Apart from this, she did 'Sharmili' with Shashi Kapoor which was loved by the audience. Later, the actress appeared in films like 'Laal Patthar' and 'Paras' and became famous as a lead actress.
