Demi Moore, Nicole Scherzinger at Family Equality's Night at the Pier Gala
Family Equality's annual Night at the Pier brings together LGBTQ+ families, allies, and advocates to honor the changemakers who have fought for equality and shaped a more inclusive world. The gala on Thursday night at New York City's Chelsea Piers raised $1.5 million to support Family Equality's work to advance legal and lived equality for LGBTQ+ families nationwide.
Untitled Entertainment founding partner Jason Weinberg and his screenwriter husband Merritt Johnson received the Luigi Caiola Luminary Award. 'We feel so strongly about Family Equality and the work that they do,' Johnson said.
