Miami, Fla. — The trophy is a time capsule. The names of winning teams and their players are engraved on it. Year after year, names are added.
It is the Stucky Cup.
Actually, it's a beer keg, with names engraved it. The champions of Miami Roller Hockey get to have their names immortalized on the Cup, er, keg.
OK, there's more than one keg. There's a gold one for the top division, a silver one for the second division, and a rust cup for the rec-hockey champs. There's also youth Stucky Cups, which aren't kegs but look like copies of the NHL's top prize, and each winning kid gets to take it home for a day, just like the NHL champs get to do with the Stanley Cup.
