Couple charged with breaking into Walmart
A Harnett County couple were recently charged with breaking into a southwest Harnett County Walmart.
Michael Brian Lewis, 30, and Casey Ann Fox, 23, were arrested May 27, according to a Facebook post by Harnett Sheriff Wayne Coats.
Both were charged with breaking and entering, larceny and conspiracy, all felonies.
Lewis' bond was set at $20,000, while Fox's bond was set at $8,000.
According to their arrest warrants, they allegedly broke into the Walmart at 2800 NC 24-87, south of the Carolina Lakes Country Club, and stole $116 in food and other items.
Lewis allegedly conspired with Fox in the crimes, according to eCourts.
Lewis also has a pending felony drug possession charge stemming from Sept. 15, 2024, and Fox has pending misdemeanor charges for second-degree trespass and damage to property stemming from Oct. 10, 2022.
Lewis listed an address at 93 Scooter Lane in southwest Harnett County, and Fox listed an address at 2025 Raven Rock Road, just south of Raven Rock State Park.
