Pedestrian killed in Hale County crash
HALE COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — A pedestrian was killed in a single-vehicle crash that occurred in Hale County Saturday night, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Michael E. Snipes, 52, of Moundville, was killed when he was struck by a 2004 Honda Civic being driven by an 18-year-old juvenile. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Calera Police Department still searching for missing 72-year-old man
The crash occurred at around 11:20 p.m. on Alabama 60 near the 4 mile marker. Troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash.
