Trumbull County high schoolers awarded scholarships at annual breakfast
WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – On Friday morning, students from Trumbull County's 20 public high schools were rewarded for their years of hard work at the annual Honors and Scholarship Breakfast.
It was held at Leo's Banquet Center in Warren.
Their academic achievements earned them money to put toward college and, for some, the military.
'The recognition today is for their accomplishments throughout their 12 or 13 years of schooling thus far, and how they were able to do what they did academically as well as athletically,' said Michael Hanshaw, superintendent of the Trumbull County Educational Service Center.
The banquet is sponsored every year by the TCESC and the Trumbull County Superintendents' Association.
