Washington Nationals vs San Francisco Giants Game Thread
After both teams got shutout wins, we are in for a rubber match between the Nationals and Giants. The Nats have won six out of their last seven and are looking for yet another series win. The Nationals lineup is similar to yesterday, but a couple regular starters will get days off. Keibert Ruiz will get a rare breather, with Riley Adams taking his place. Luis Garcia Jr. will also get the day off against a left handed pitcher. Nasim Nunez will take his place. Michael Soroka will get the start today. He has been great early in games before hitting a wall in the sixth inning. He will hope to change that. Advertisement The Giants are only making one change to their lineup. Backup catcher Sam Huff will give Patrick Bailey the day off. Besides that, they are rolling out the same unit that got shutout yesterday. Former Nationals prospect Robbie Ray will take the mound for the Giants. The former Cy Young winner has returned to form this year.
