News 8 Primetime Elite Awards: Boys Alpine
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Our recognized athlete has just ended their season with a state title.
In the postseason, he took first at sectionals in the slalom with a final time of one minute and 1.09 seconds.
At states, he placed second in the slalom and first in the giant slalom, where he finished just under a minute and 56 seconds at Gore Mountain.
His success has made him the most decorated Section V skier in the 2025 state championship.
We congratulate Michael Stevers of Fairport as our Elite Award winner for boys alpine.
